Summer is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. Especially for those of us living in cold climates, by the time summer rolls around, we are itching to get outside and enjoy some sun! Here are 4 inspiring tablescapes to jumpstart your summer entertaining season (and links to where you can get the look yourself!)
1. Preppy Mint Julep
Source: Green Wedding Shoes
For a preppy, southern-inspired look, start with a bold striped runner. Pair coupe glasses with mint julep cups filled with (what else?) a Kentucky classic mint julep. Add summer blossoms, brightly-colored napkins and a sprig of green on each plate (use some of your leftover mint!)

2. Rustic Wildflowers

For a more rustic look, top a barnwood table with a faded linen runner. Layer on large stoneware and wooden serving boards. Top it all off with vases filled with wildflowers.

3. Opulent Summer Garden Party
Source: The Enchanted Home
For an opulent, summer garden theme, start with a classic, beige tablecloth. Layer it with concrete planters filled with succulents and high pillar candle holders. Mix in smaller vases, filled with roses, to give the arrangement depth. Finally, place a fresh lemon at each place setting. If you want to go full-opulence, fill in the arrangement with moss, tealights and sculpted lemon topiaries.

4. Coastal Casual

For a casual, beachy dinner, assemble a makeshift table with apple crates and a simple wooden tabletop. Top with a searsucker table runner and coordinating napkins. Layer on cobalt glassware, casual lanterns, glass jug vases and mercury glass. Finish it off with brightly-colored, seasonal flowers.
